A convention

Glad to report that I'm feeling much better, despite feeling old because I went to bed so early while in Ft Worth for the weekend. But, eh, I can't complain.

I'm through Day 1 of my convention. We've got "contest day" and "big group dinner" out of the way. Tomorrow, we have "advisors meeting," which is a time when all the old people get together to complain about many things, including, but not limited to, convergence, the lack of online contests during the convention, their achy feet and wild students and even the yearbook. I will probably have to defend the yearbook contests (again this year). They always pick on yearbook! I don't know why, yearbook never did anything to them except be more awesome than they are. Pufttt.

The only big things after that are "workshops" and "awards ceremony" which is last and which is where we find out that we rock, which I guess we already know, but the affirmation is nice.

I'm pulling for my ad student and my yearbook editor. In the ad design contest, they have to make an ad for a mystery product. Do you know what that product was? Lighted house shoes. Last year, it was iToast, a toaster that plugs into a computer.

Also, new allergy discovery here. May be big time allergic to macadamia nuts! Will have to figure that out more thoroughly later.

Alright. Goodnight.
