Part of my job is looking through magazines with students to get layout/design ideas for the yearbook. We don't always pay attention to what's actually being featured in the magazine. This magazine, Fresh Style, a special edition by Southern Lady, has been in our office since September. I just looked through it yesterday and realized that it's full of cool ideas. I'm pretty sure my student actually purchased this magazine, so I'm posting pics of my favorite ideas so I don't forget!

In the meantime
I'm redecorating our guest room. It's almost finished, I'm just waiting for bedding to be delivered before I show you my masterpiece. I also decided to do some kind of collage type thingie above the headboard, with plates and paintings, but I don't have plates or paintings, so for now, it will just be a blank space for imagining.
In the meantime, I've become a little obsessed with Halloween decorations. I know, I see the random change in topics too. Husband give's me a hard time about it. Regardless, I'm on Halloween and there's nothing we can do to change that.
I found these luminaries from "Crafts by Amanda" on Pinterest (which is awesome).
Rather than go buy a bunch of mason jars, I think it will work with pasta sauce jars and wine bottles, which I can accumulate quickly. The only problem is I don't know how to get a light/candle inside a wine bottle. Hmm. maybe I could just put a candle stick in the wine bottles.
Project time.
