Just "Qu'est-ce que c'est?" It
Cabs are much more expensive that the metro, but you get to see things you might miss otherwise. If we want to know what something is, we just “Qu'est-ce que c'est?” it. This means we point to the building or monument and ask the taxi driver, “Qu'est-ce que c'est??” or “What is that?” It’s like googling, but much more interactive. And once you start a conversation with a taxi driver, they keep it going and point out other things that we didn’t even know to “Qu'est-ce que c'est?.”
