Do you ever get the feeling that you're standing in a place where people are not meant to be? I felt that here at the top of this mountian. The skies had been cloudy all morning, with snow blasting our faces. This was my first good look at the sourranding area. Even though the snow had cleared, it was still so windy at the top of this mountian that the loose snow raced around the skiers like moving water in a picture with a long exposure. It also covered ski tracks so it felt like there was noone else up there but us. Just wanted to share the beautiful moment, although I'm not sure I entirely captured it with my iPhone camera.

Cool picture. It reminds me of the feeling right before you start skiing down the hill when you look over the edge and it looks like the only way to get down it to jump and free fall, but once you start you find that you can ski down the hill. Mom
I've had that feeling before. It's especially strong in high places. :) Thanks for sharing
