3 pm on a Monday

Right about now, I should be 30 minutes into full on face-on-desk nap time, as I have been on any given day in the past few weeks. 

The funniest thing about office nap time? The automatic lights in my office. If I don't move for five minutes, they turn off.  When I sit up from my nap, they turn on. My assistants, who sit right by my office door, always know when I'm sleeping. The other day, after I sat up and heard the lights click on, one of them said, "Did you have a nice nap?" 

But today, no naps. I'm wide awake despite my three hour intermission from sleep last night. I may tell a different story after I finish with my training session in a few hours, but for now... Yes, I think I will plant those pansies and cook those fajitas when I get home. 

And I'm still drinking my one cup of chai tea for the day, thank you very much.
