I should have known to have the camera ready. After leaving the airport, we were greeted by a group of piglets on the side of the road and a heard of goats running in front of our taxi. We asked if they are wild and were told they weren't. They live on a farm and when night comes, they know to go back home.
We had a few drinks at the hotel pool bar before heading out to the Shiggity Shack... which was actually a shack. We meet a few locals that told us the lobster was "GREAT!" so that's what I ordered. I ate some of it, but I couldn't handle the eating meat out of a carcass thing. And please, let me say... MANGO DAIQUIRIS ARE AWESOME.
We got back to the hotel and decided it would be a fabulous idea to try our luck at gambling... -$120 later (not completely my fault) we stumbled back to the room and took a dip in the pool with Blevins senior. All in all, a good first day, or first afternoon since we landed at 5:00 pm.
I can't believe I have managed to write this much with Billy, Gayle and Preston ready to walk out the door! Here we go for Day 2... which will have pictures, I promise.
