1. Charlie has been wearing red Christmas outfits all month. I've had to use great restraint not to buy more. He's going to rock them until they fall apart or don't fit. My favorite one is a little red and green plaid smocked Jon Jon that I bought at a children's consignment store for five dollars. HOLLA. It might have smelled like cats and attic before i washed it, but you can still raise the roof to it. You'll see it later in a post titled Charlie's Christmas Ensemble 2012. Read ensemble with a fancy French accent.
2. Leggings. I boycott waistbands during the holidays (July through December). That used to mean skirts or dresses, but you can't really get crunk on the floor and help your baby open presents in a skirt. Enter leggings. Again, thank you Mary Kate and Ashley. I'm sure you had something to do with the leggings thing.
3. KINDLE PAPER WHITE!!! It just makes books more exciting. I already loaded mine up with samples. I love my kindle paper white. I love Kindles.
4. My friend Lisa at Texas Sized Bling has made shirts to support long term counseling for the Sandy Hook elementary kids and their families. Lisa is a survivor of the Columbine High School shooting. It inspires me that she has shared her experience and created a unique way for people to support Sandy Hook elementary and Columbine High School. I already bought one! For more info about the shirts, find Texas Size Bling on Facebook or go to www.texasbling.com.
5. Boots. Brown, beautiful leather boots. I can't wait to wear them with EVERYTHING. Everything, I say.
